Working on seams of the rockers, and cab corners still. Repairing the back doors, so I can put them on. Installed new Rockford Fosgate speakers, while waiting on the body filler. They sound pretty good with the pioneer radio compared to the stock ones. Got the manifold to egr pipe adapter in, but it didn't fit, and am having trouble finding the correct one, around there they are telling me it is a dealer item, so I guess I will stop by there if I cannot find it soon.

Default headers finally done

Got my fitting at the ford dealership, but if anybody else ever looks for this, it is a XL3Z-9F485-AA connector for 2001 5.4 that goes between exhaust manifold and EGR Tube. Fired it up, and no more ticking whatsoever. I didn't think the driver's side was leaking, but all the ticking is gone now, it was slight compared to the passenger side, though.

Default horn

Got to putting horn back on, and tested it and the low tone was bad. Ordered a new air horn, and new battery top connectors. Got them all in, it is nice and loud! Many extra openings on battery connector for amp, lights, etc. Have the negative, but didn't put it on yet.

Default expensive failure

I started to take out the back window, and just realized that when I cut the bed bolts out, I did not watch where the sparks were flying. Ruined the back window. I will have to get another, it is horribly pitted. Lesson learned. Window is out.

Don't feel like the lone ranger bro. I cut mine off and did the same thing. Not bad enuff to replace it. I have so many coolers up front I have no room for anything else. A bunch of -10 and -6 hose with fittings and a couple of coolers. I want to put the stock trans cooler in place of the power steering cooler.

Still doing body work, sanding, and taping off body, but now with fenders back on, decided to check what my actual lift in the front was, I suspect it was pretty high. I was correct, hub center to fender, was 24.75" left side, and 25.00" right side. Explains why it rode rough. Dropped it down to 23 3/8" both sides for now. I was able to pull upper rubber off top of windshield to sand up there, there was a bunch of rust spots, from rock chips?

Door jambs and inner rockers and cab corners are painted.
