Wow thats a great looking truck with a rock solid plan. That suspension looks like a very nice quality designed kit too. I'll be following this build for sure. Looks like you've got a great base truck for a great build. I'm almost just as excited as you to see what it looks like with the kit on. haha

Mother of God, how much did this cost? Very nicely done.

More than the $8K I paid for the truck, but I plan on having it for a long time. It only has 52,000 miles on it still. It is my version of the Extreme4x4 1/2 Priced Raptor, and that's how I sold it to my wife. I should come in way below 1/2 of the $50K or so a newish Raptor would cost me, and this thing will have more travel and be stronger too.

Next year it's getting a spring under Deaver setup with 3" Bypass shocks, etc. Keeping the bed in tact.

Interesting bit of trivia. My Raptor is the one Ian drove on the show.

That's funny, I had forgotten who's kit they used until Kevin (the owner of HM Racing Design) told me that he had worked with him on that build while I was at their shop dropping Tabitha off.

I went back and watched the episodes over, but as far as I can tell, they did't really do a payoff show. I was wondering how well it turned out. Saw Ian at the Off Road Expo in Pomona a few years back, nice guy. Going again this year and picking up the truck there, so I don't have to drive all the way to Murrieta.

The show was bought out before they finished. We had planned a follow up where Ian would bring the 'half priced Raptor' to an event and engage in some friendly competition. Too bad it didn't work out.
