Sorry guys dishes, cleaning, putting away laundry, taking care of dogs...... It takes a lot of time lol

Current progress is that I have the bumper completely welded in place all the bolts are in. My tolerances were a little to tight and welding made some stuff move so next time it comes down I will have to open up the wholes and slots a little bit so I can tip it back up.

It is mounted on the top side with 4 3/4 inch grade 8s and the pivot point is made of 2 1.5 inch diameter stainless steel pins. I measured wrong in solidworks when making the pins so I will have to take them out weld a slug onto them and turn them down to match the rest of the pin so I can insert locking pins. So they can't fall out.

It's completely solid now.

Next steps are too insert my led light bar and wire that and the KCs back in. Maybe put the light bar where the KCs are? Idk..... I am also trading my skills around with a friend to make some drive shaft safety hoops for his pulling truck in exchange for helping me make some traction bars for the 14 bolt. Those 37s and the mini spool plus being a little light on weight create crazy wheel hop.

Later on I am hoping for a winch mount up front as well as cut the sides off the bumper and tube it with some colored inserts and move the KCs out there and wire them into my fog light switch.

Also my radiator core support is shot. So need to get after that but the Evo is down so no other ride at the moment to allow me to tear it down.

Nice Job dude, I just finished reading no stop and must say I am impressed with your efforts. I myself was considering a coil sprungs SAS in the next couple of years and was just starting to make a list of what I might need.

Biggest problem I have is getting research done Looking for a solid axel that is strong (in the 3/4 ton to 1 ton range that is popular enough so that I can easily find custom parts (ring and pinion, air lockers or e lockers etc.) any suggestions? hoping I can find the axel at one of the american car shops over here vice paying to ship it form the states, just thinking aobut the cost of shipping it here is painful.

cheers

Anything in a dana 60 would be sufficient but I would either go Chevy or ford as dodge axles are full time 4x4 in the older gens.

What kind of vehicles do you have to choose from?

I haven't updated my thread in a long time as I have 4 vehicles to work on along with my girlfriends. Just bought a house and started a new job so stuff been crazy and no time for truck building.

Eventually I will be building again after I get my Evo fixed and rebuilt along with accumulating some more tools.

Need to do some more research as well and throw some ideas round on pricing. Need a new truck too. Don't wanna gut mine to build another one.
