2000 4x4 black scab build
Always wanted to make a build thread and now that i have some time i will make one, i have allot of work done to the truck already but better late then never.
This is how i got the truck a few years back it was completely stock, 2000 xlt 4x4 offroad with 140k with allmost no rust(at the time) which is pretty hard to find in Wisconsin.
I then took the tonneau cover off and put on a delta tool box with 4ft wilson whips i had from my old f150.
After that i got a kenwood head unit along with all new kenwood door speakers and a cobra cb.
I got a SI/DO straight pipe exhaust with 4" mbrp tips 45ed out the back with stock cats, its got a real nice deep sound and gets pretty loud when i step on it and it doesn't have that annoying popping sound like the true dual straights have. Along with that i put some lights around the tool box and got a set of chrome tinted tail lights that go really good with my truck i think.
After learning about the t bars i cranked mine almost all the way and got near 2", i stopped at the 24.25 safe zone. And while i was doing that i noticed a tie rod had some play so i went on a spending spree and replaced most of the front end parts and got an alignment right after. The front end was higher than the back which i hate the look of so i bought a set of Monroe col shocks which brought the rear up 1.5" and gave me some extra payload which was awesome.

I got bored one day and wire wheeled 75% of the frame and under coated it, had some little marker lights laying around so i put them on the bumper valance and then added some super duty cab lights.
Got a set of 285/70r17 cooper discoverer atr's with 75% tread off of craigslist for cheap and put them on, not as big as i wanted but they filled the wheel wells in allot more than the stock tires, After that i got a chrome stainless bull bar and a chrome grille, im still looking for a led light bar to fit the bull bar.
The main brake line blew so i just replaced them all and ended up getting all new rotors and pads, and this is how she sits today. The truck is far from done and i plan on doing allot this year to it after i get my boat paid off, here are some of the mods i will be doing,
Body Lift
Little bit bigger tires, 295s or 305s
Cragar rims
Programmer
And a bunch of little stuff.
