Id bet 50% more power with a Kenne Bell at 6 to8 psi, about 3k if they still make a kit for your truck.

Little bit with a different pulley but if you want alot more you need to buy a unit that pushes more air up front. Look on KB website.

Well my ultimate far future plan is 1000hp at the wheels. i really don't want to have to upgrade it later so i would like it to have the ability to push that much.

Just swap out your engine for one out of a 07+ GT500/ Ford GT and run a Kenne Bell Mammoth kit or a run a custom Twin Turbo kit.

I am doing a DOHC Navigator swap and the GT500 heads are a direct fit except for a little machine work so in theory i can run a GT500 supercharger, just need all the brackets and parts and figure out a way to run a cable throttle body.

There is a navigator engine for sale in my area for pretty cheap with only 90K miles on it and i'm honestly thinking about buying it.

How much hp can the stock engine handle?

Really the problem is not the block. The problem stems from the powder metal piston rods. They just can not handle boost. Even the ones out of a Lightning can still only hold a certain amount of boost. Most people keep the block, heads, and crank and just swap the pistons and rods for forged parts.
