Working on the frame. Decided to use POR-15 to restore the frame rails. Sand blasted, then used POR-15 degreaser and metal prep. I am working on half the frame at a time. Removed the gas tank first. Replacement should arrive today

Looks really good. I just hauled a replacement bed for my '97 home today. I plan on pulling the existing bed and doing some of the same work. Looks like I'm just a couple days behind you. Keep the pics and progress coming...

I'm not real sure what it was finally negotiated down to. $500? Used bed with a new tailgate and lights still in their boxes. Also had to purchase new hold down bed bolts.

Finished painting the 2nd side of the frame, installed the spare tire wench, Installed the charcoal filters and the bracket they sit on, installed the new gas tank and all its fittings and hoses. Next shock absorbers.
