I have had my f150 for about a year already so I decided it was time to start a build thread (its my daily driver)






mods so far
-2001 expedition eddie bauer front seats and wide center console swap
-Muffler delete
-led fog lights and hid headlights
-17" wheels and tires from 2000 4x4 offroad package

What I want to do
-get hubcaps for the 17's
-2.5" x-pipe, dual entrance/dual exit muffler exiting before the right rear tire
-lightning headlights with mh1 projectors retrofitted in
-99-03 front bumper swap with king ranch valance
- 285/75r17 tires (Im thinking wranglers duratracs or toyo open country m/t)

Small update. I got my overdrive cancel switch working today. It was just a broken wire by the steering column so I just soldered and heatshrinked it. I also took out my hids and put my Sylvania silverstars back in. (The right side was burnt out and I was fed up with it being so finicky)

Looks like a nice truck! I think the painted king ranch style valance would look great on there as well.

I have some good news and some not so good news... I will say the good news first.....I got my lightning headlights in and they look great but today I backed into a lightpost so I need a new rear bumper, left side bracket and straighten the left lower edge of the box

well its been a long time since I have updated it so I think its time. I finally got new tires (duratracs-best tires I have ever had on the truck and as such I decided to test out the new tires)


I also got the expy center console swap completly finished with the heated seats wired up


changed the cluster lights to blue leds

this is how the truck is looking now

I also installed an overhead console from a 2001 f150, I dont have pictures yet but I will update this thread with pictures later, Im not so happy with how the headliner turned out though so Im going to get one from a 00-03 scab. Sadly not evrything turned out good and I have my cylinder 4 shoot out the plug that was a fun job...
