Default 1996 F150 4x4 "The Truck" Build

So ill start off by saying I forgot we had a "members builds" section here for a moment, so I started my build thread in 1987-96 f150. ignore that one.

So here's my build thread for my 1996 f150 XL, affectionately known as "The Truck." It's got the 300 straight six and a 3 inch suspension lift. So I bought this from my dad's friend for 600 bucks, it needed a new gas tank and fuel pump, and it's run great ever since I did that. I've had the truck since last summer but now that school's out and work will be picking up significantly, I figured its time to start a build thread cause I will be making hopefully a few mods to it this summer. First up was some tires. I went with 31x10.5 inch general grabber at2s and they look fantastic, (and so far they're good although I haven't taken them offroad yet)

Future mods include:

new headlight lenses

MSD cap and rotor and ignition coil with new plugs wires and a timing bump

a bumper bar with some offroad lights

52 inch light bar for the top of the cab

k&n air filter

Any suggestions?

hopefully someday soon I can take the bed off and do a proper paint job for that rusty frame

a necessary fix ill be doing soon is replacing the tps.

Hope yall enjoy this one

took it wheeling with my buddy and his 2wd Cherokee.
figured out how to put it in 4x4 despite the broken shift linkage and it worked great.

Whenever you get around to it, take your time taking the bed off.
There's no bit hole in the boots holding it in and there's a good chance the nuts will spin.
Not a fun process to do haha, I wouldn't recommend reusing those bolts either, get some with a torx bit or something for when it goes back on.

ordered the stuff for a tune up, went motorcraft on plugs and wires, and ACCEL for cap, rotor and ignition coil. the next couple weeks I plan on getting a k&n drop in filter and doing a synthetic oil change.
