I have never opened a spedo, that said I have heard that with a v/speed drill and a section of cable you can "drive at 60 mph" up to your mileage. How far off is the new spedo? If it is just 1 or 2k off I would not worry about that on this old of a truck because they do not show above 99,999.9. Or mine does not.

The speedo in the truck shows 21k (121k) and the new cluster shows 24k

That close I would not worry about trying to reset the odometer Figure the difference between the two and make a note for reference and go with it.

Too late now i hope the the miles are close enough! I am sure the 1 over the 2 will eventually go to 22k all in all its great! Before I had the tach I was afraid of getting on it because I didnt know what my rpms are. Now full throttle from 0 only goes to about 3k rpms.

Got the cluster in a few days ago. Also went to Minneapolis to get some furniture and things. Used my truck and saw this on the way back. I love my truck, but if I could get one of those oh boy... A thanks to whoever knows what it is! One of my favorite cars...

I'll give you guys a hint. Its old. Got the rear bumper and wheels painted today. Tomorrow getting a chrome brush guard from a guy and in the next few days my window visors and new mirrors will be coming in from lmc
