I'm not sure just old truck drove like ****. My Dad has a 08 dodge 2500 (6.7 cummins) truck only has 50k miles on it and it rides horrible I actually hate riding in that thing.

I guess it's all relative. I've had my lift on for a little over a week now, and the ride is pretty crappy, but doesn't bother me that much haha. The 10 ply Trail Grapps pick up every small imperfection in the road and translate it straight to my steering wheel on the highway. I imagine a straight axle on mud tires would be even worse, but the vast majority of time I'm in them, I'm not driving very fast, so I don't know how they act/feel on the road.

Ride in one of these old trucks and it will feel like a Lincoln from then on lol they're horrible. On mine the frame flexes before the springs do lol you can see how far off the body lines were. And the door wouldn't open.

Everybody said my 01 would ride bad after I cranked the torsion bars but it just feels more like a truck to me now.

I know I haven't posted in over a year...... I'm sorry guys, been extremely busy. Got married, had a lot of stuff happen in my life. I still have my truck, In Fact I cut the ugly rear bumper off. Working on a re wire (It's hell) had stock varnished covered tank steam cleaned out and ready to go back in. Got a few sets of wheels, for her. Might get Front end parts this weekend and start redoing the whole front end. Not sure how many people who have followed my truck in the past are mustang fans, But since it's a Ford and (I'm a huge ford guy) I'll share what my wife bought me. Yes she's authentic. 90k original miles. I still have my Cummins. (I spent way too much money on adding performance parts here and there on that truck.) I am debating on a Gun metal Grey for my Highboy or a pearl white. I will probably repaint the Cobra, I was thinking Pearl white as well.
