The 6.0 and honestly it's so hard really weigh everything. The 6.0 tranny shifts the best. But the 6.0 is also in the biggest vehicle (Excursion) The 6.7 is relatively new and still isn't what I would say amazing. (Ram 2500) And my 5.9 which does have a lot of power but is a little older. I do honestly wonder what the 7.3 is like also the 12 valve.
What are the drive ability issues? Didn't think about that, but I've never driven a 12V either. I've driven several 7.3s though.

I'm not completely sure the drive ability issues of a 12v I was told by the dodge diesel mechanic that he doesn't like 12v because of drive ability issues he didn't get much into what they were.

They ride rough as all hell. My highboy is a log wagon and the 12v I rode in was even worse somehow.

Oh, I thought he meant the motor itself being annoying for daily use. Like setting the points on old cars all the time was a PITA, that sort of thing. F ride quality cause it ain't gonna be in the 12V's own truck anyway lol

The Dodge mechanic owns the diesel shop just down the road and he calls the 12v motors "tractor motors" and said he didn't like them at all. They leak oil constantly. Ride like ****. Lol he's the cummins expert and he hates the 12v but said they are reliable but he doesn't like them.

Yeah they're really rough, unrefined engines. Just dirty old power makers.

I like "tractor motors" That's pretty good, but probably accurate. Lots of people don't know that trucks older than about 20 years all rode like complete **** and weren't something people drove just to drive like many people (myself included) do.
