Default '11 Limited #3679

Figured i'd just start a "build" thread to make a place to throw pics of my truck, mods and adventures i take.

A little back story, my boss leased this truck new in 2011. Hes a older guy and very OCD about keeping things clean. In 2013 when i was thinking about an F-150 i asked him about buying this one off him for the lease buy out as the '11 limited had always been a dream truck of mine. He agree'd and then it was a waiting game on my part. I've known this truck since new and detailed it for him 1-2 times a year.

July 18th 2014 with 22k miles I was handed the keys to it, I was like a kid in a candy store. I own a few other Ford trucks but this was the newest and nicest i'd ever owned.

I plan to keep it somewhat stock as I think its damn near perfection the way it is, but with a few improvements as i can't leave anything alone.

Mods thus far:
-Retrax bed cover
-Husky rear wheel liners
-Husky splash guards front/rear
-AVS seamless window visors
-Painted mirror reflectors
-LED interior lights
-LED foglights
-HID headlights
-35% tint on front windows

Future mods:
-305/45 22 A/T's
-Intake
-Exhaust
-SCT tuner
-Rigid light bar behind the grill
-LED bed lights
plus more??

when i got it:

As of this weekend i'm getting close to 29k, I've also been very happy with the MPG of the 6.2. I'm getting dead on the EPA numbers of 12 city/ 13 mixed/ 16 highway

Anyway I know its a lot of pics and info for a first post but figured if i waited longer it would be a bigger pain.

Looks great he has great taste, I think the '11 LL's has to be one of the sexiest f-150's produced recently. It's funny though even with their limited production numbers there is a lot of them locally and Three of live within 2 miles of me.

Tonight I put LEDs in the license plate lights, only ones left now are the puddle lights.

I started looking into ordering new summer tires. I think i'm set on Nitto Terra Grapplers in 305/45 22. The factory Pirelli's are totally worn out and the 275/45's are way small. Not going to order for another month or so when it gets closer to March/April when the summer wheels and tires can go back on.

Have not done anything other then rack on miles and wash her. Thinking of doing something with the exhaust soon. New Nitto Terra Grapplers will be ordered soon for the 22s.

Some pics from the last month or so, nothing special.

I've debated a small level on the front, but i think i'm going to leave the suspension stock for awhile.

With the warm temps, the truck has a nice fade paint job.
