Finally tested the Zapco off some static battery power along with the Sundown Components. They are CRAZY loud and efficient, even out of the enclosure. This was no gain on the amp, 3.5mm to RCA adapter, off battery power with passive Crossovers.
not sure if I'm keeping that amp or not, got an offer to trade it straight across for a mint condition Digital Designs C5c. Old school power is cool and all, but the efficiency and ability to run active front stage is enticing.

Making headway on wiring it all up and getting the amps in place. Haven't even touched anything ahead of the b-pillar, but that'll be the easy part. Power and ground blocks, amp rack/beauty panel started. Needs a floor and some bedliner.
Unsure why it looks like it's crooked, it almost flows perfectly straight down from the seat.
Tally on wire here:
40ft SkyHigh 2/0
10ft SkyHigh 1/0
20ft Execution Audio 1/0
20ft Skyhigh #8
still have about 60ish ft of SkyHigh #12 speaker wire to run, and some #16 speaker wire for remote and volt meter. Will need about 35ft more of the SkyHigh #8 for the subwoofer wire and my trick relay setup to control the fans. Did I mention the fans? :P

Okay guys, have a pretty big update here. Got it all together and playing. Tried hitting the amp rack with a flush trim bit and ended up doing some damage, no big worry though. Threw some paint on it until it gets bedlined. Ran the Sundown Components passive off my oldschool Zapco for a bit, then decided to try running them active(aka tweeters amped on 2 channels and mids amped on 2 channels). Got mixed up with my channels on the amp and ended up popping a tweeter in the Sundown component set. But I will say, bi-amped/active is the way to go on a front stage.
goofed, will have to take pictures in the morning. Running the Taramps TS-400X4. It's a fairly small unit, actually really small. but it is VERY effective and has pretty nice sound quality as well. Quick distance test. about 100 yards out with 1 tweeter down, on a sorta windy day. Need to do it again when the tweeters come in.

Clarion CZ702 and a stealth mounted PAC LC-1 bass ****. Really happy with its outcome.
Stealth mounted my tweeters in the dash instead of the doors. Makes for a bit more natural sound since it's projected across the windsheild instead of at your head.
My little mini 4 channel, actually a really nice amp for what I paid for it.
Since my bass amp isn't needed yet, using that space to store my first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Safety first!
And getting these mids to fit in the doors was not a fun time. Had to hack the door panel with a dremel and eventually a grinder/cutoff wheel to make them fit flat.
Big shout out to http://car-speaker-adapters.com for an awesome product and fast shipping. Only had to slightly sand down the edges to make them fit in the door.

Got a Digital Designs C5d to run my front stage. Waiting on a tweeter from NVX and it'll be up and playing again. getting pretty pissed at that entire situation. Been almost 2 months since I ordered them. Probably just going to order a set of cheaper Tymphany 1 inch tweeters off Parts Express to take their place, since they will sound better anyway.
pulling my door panels again tomorrow, going to try and tweak some more to pull some better sound from these Sundown Mids I have.
