I live in Alaska right now, so I understand what you mean when you said what good is a truck if it isn't 4x4.

Was your LTK bolt on or did they have to do a lot of fabrication? Also, how did you not have to get a bed cage? I don't mind having a bed cage and double it as a spare tire holder, but it would be nice to have that bed space.
It was more then a bolt on kit in the front. It says in the description of the kit "Level 3 Installation (Major Fabrication required, welding, grinding, and drilling.)". Also they had to relocate the battery, the wiper fluid box, and Installed a... Im not sure what to call it. Engine cage? its just for the shocks and goes over the engine not really a cage.

For the bed they did a spring under. Stock our trucks are spring over. Then a new shackle. I'm not very mechanically inclined so I dont know technically what they did different, but I know I have a LTK in the rear with no bed cage, King 3.0's with a bypass and king bump stops.

For prerunning you want your spare tires as far back as possible. If you get a bedcage I would still recommend building some kind of tire gate type of setup. So that you have the weight as far back as possible. You have a big heavy engine in the front and with no weight in the back its going to be bad for traction, and if you were to do any kind of jumps you want a more even weight. Also in the woops if the back end is too light its just going to pogo stick all around on you.

No bump stops unfortunately, king 2.5 8" coil overs, 13.5-14 inches of travel I believe less than I hoped for but being a fully bolt on kit I don't think it's that bad. And I'm not sure on the width, the control arms are 3.5" longer so in total the truck is 7 inches wider wheel to wheel.

wow that's not to far off from what I have, but at much lower price point. Sounds like a great deal. Do you have a build thread?

I won't lie I am really terrible with this site lol. But I had started one, then kinda just stopped with it. They aren't very fast to email when someone posts or responds to something on threads for me. So I do have some pictures of it in my "garage" other wise I have a public album of it on my Facebook account and a bunch of pictures on my Instagram. (www.facebook.com/schlough22 and schlough22 on Instagram) I'm kind of at a stand still with my truck right now, she looks pretty stock apart from the white fenders And being a little wider than normal. I'm going to be scooping up some bedsides this spring and installing them, a portion of my tax returns will go to a custom front bumper from Max-bilt, and unfortunately the rest will go towards a house.

@ asmidget91
Yes you are correct stock the truck comes spring over.
I may be confused, but what I meant was its a aftermarket spring under conversion with the stock axle. We did not swap the stock axle when we did the spring under conversion is what I was trying to say

@ Cschlough22
Great looking truck man
