After that I'm probably going to start the engine mods. I will either do the engine mods or the interior with a roll cage and suspension seats.
That sounds sweet. And a real cool color choice. I'd like too see that. If for some crazy reason I was ever rich enough to have a raptor I'd go matte white with matte black graphics and accents. I think that'd look ba on a forerunner truck

Ya I think the matte/flat/satin blue white and black are super cool colors on trucks.

Just got some great news from http://www.corbeau.com/ . I recived an email today from them saying
"Patrick,

We are pleased to inform you that your application for sponsorship has been reviewed and accepted for partial sponsorship. At Corbeau we take great pride in those cars that we sponsor. We receive hundreds of sponsorship inquiries each week and only a select few are accepted."

Woot! I got my first sponsor for my truck. They make great high quality supension seats and race harnesses. Cant wait to get them installed in my truck!

So I am going to order 4 of the "baja xp" suspension seats with 4 5 point harnesses and the pads.

Let us know how the install on the seats go! I want to do it but nervous about the electronics under the stock seats. Oh and I wouldn't go 5 points for a DD, 4 points will work just fine. Your nuts will thank me lol

Ha, well I will ask the shop how the install goes. They only sale 2 points and 5 point harness. I fly in helicopters for my job right now, so I am used to 5 point harnesses.

Ah okay then if your used to them I say go for it. I'm curious how the belts are going to mount without a cage so definitely let us know how that works. My aunt had a mustang back in the day and it had 5 points and a whole cage. The car was awesome but the first time I got in I buckled everything up and forgot to close the door...I couldn't reach it in the harness so had to unbuckle and do it all over again. That sucked haha.

Im not 100% sure how it works with out the cage installed yet, but I think the harness can be mounted to the floor behind the seats until I get the cage. I have been looking at there site and I think I may change my pick to the FIA Forza Sport bucket seats instead. I have been reading up and sounds like a lot of people prefer the bucket seats to the suspension seats.

Pat, that's one bad *** truck! That color is so nice, I am more of a black car/truck guy...but if I were to ever go for something eye grabbing, that would probably be it!

Is there any chance you'd be able to ship it to where you'll be in Afghanistan so you could drive it some? Otherwise you could always ship it to me, I'll drive it for ya! LOL

Ha this place was made for trucks like mine. Some times I look at the terrain and think "man if I had my truck hear.". But ya I dont think that would be worth the money to ship hear plus knowing my luck I would hit an IED right off the bat. I get another R&R soon so I hope to get a lot more driving in this time.

Are they talking about seats for cars or trucks? I only really see suspension seats in prerunners. Just get one with a lot of bolster support. The baja xp or something like that looks perfect.

Placed my Order today.

4 x Baja XP Suspension Seat ( Black Vinyl)
4 x 3-Inch 5-Point Camlock Harness Belts (Black)
4 x 3-Inch Harness Pads (Blue)
2 x double locking sliders with Baja Adapters

Hope to get them by Friday but with it being the holiday season It will probably take longer.

The truck has been in the shop for about a month or so now and they have not touched it yet (They know there is no hurry). My next R&R should be around February. The goal for my next R&R is to have all the following done;

Tilt hood with new and more hood pins
Tire gate installed with full size spare
Suspension seats and harnesses installed
GPS installed (Still looking for something that is good for on and off road)
Paint the whole truck again

Got my seats today. I have been talking to my shop and sounds like we may just go ahead and do the full roll cage before we install these.

No I wont get to sit in them until late January or February on my next R&R. I was a bit scared because they are for a 38-40" waste and I am a 36 so I was not sure if my fat *** would fit in the seats. But one of my friends who is closer to a 40" waste was able to sit in them just fine.

My mom went and talked to the shop the other day and not its starting to sound like they dont think they will be able to do the roll cage before I get home. So that means the seats wont get installed either... If they cant do the roll cage before I come home then I will have the truck repainted.

I contacted Vegas Dezert Fab as well to see if they thought they could get it done in that time, but I am still waiting on a response.

On this next R&R I hope to put her through the paces and really break in my suspension. I have a few gopros so I will try and shoot some videos as well.
