Default Buyers beware

Well it looks like the mint driver-side HD headlight in the classified turned out to be not so mint. I bought it and first off noticed a very pronounce and visible scratch just over the reflector. After making a closer inspection I found the top mounting flange has a 2" crack in it.

I was a little suspicious at first because he used a TASCA photo but after he finally posted a real picture of the headlight in a box I thought it was ok. Especially when he said it was mint.

Member dykzeulb is a very dishonest person and I don't mind to tell him so. I was going to refrain from posting this after only finding the scratch but now with the crack this take the cake.

He has not answered my PM's to so I guess I can write this off to experience. There went $135 down the toilet.

I will say he did not use the term "mint" he said good... Your version of good and his apparently differ... I do agree with you that a crack makes it not good and then his discription makes him dishonest. It is sad a fellow forum member uses the forum as a way to cheat people... Sorry for your loss....
We all need to band together to encourage a refund... dykzeulb pay back the money...

Yeah the epoxy probably will fix it but it just pisses me off when people do things like that.

People, a seller should disclose any defects and do so accurately. Doing so brings even the seller even more trust and builds a positive reputation.

He used the term mint in the title of his for sale thread LH (Driver) Harley Davidson Headlight MINT . Either way it was misleading and dishonest.

shortride, that really sucks. I was looking at that thread too and was going to jump on it. I didn't like that he didn't post close up pics. Was it packaged well?
dykzeulb you need to pay the man back since you didn't accurately describe defects on that light.

It was packaged very well. If anything better than usual. It was in a box with peanuts and then packed inside of another box. There was no obvious damage to the inner box or the outer box during shipping. I even commented to him about the scratch couldn’t have happen in shipping because of how well he had packaged it.

What grips me is, I'm a disabled vet and an extra $135 is bit hard to come by for me.
