Default Seller Experience

I sold a K & N 63 Series CAI the other day for $183 net after shipping and paypal fees. I got a message from the buyer saying he didn't realize it was for a different size engine and wants a refund. What would you do in this situation as the seller?

To me this is the buyers mistake because it's the buyer who is responsible to see if the item is correct for his needs. That being said, you might consider a refund, minus all of your costs plus 10% hassel fee.

Depends on your post or what was said during the buying transition. If it was posted that the motor size was this and he still bought. Its his fault but for what was said above I would do the same thing. Get the refund plus whatever else you have to pay out and 10% for the problem...

Engine size was never mentioned, posted, or asked about.

On one hand, i feel bad because it's not of use to him, but on the other hand, i turned down other offers as well. Oh well. I'm sure if i sold it after a few days, he will be able to do the same.
