I purchased a lift kit from him for $500. Told me he would ship it 2 days ago and would give me the tracking number when he got home. Asked him if he shipped it yet last night around 8 pm central and he has yet to reply. Im not sure what kind of "business" or whatever it is he is running. But I think I might have to make a claim on PayPal for money back. Had the same problem as Big D (another user with negative experience with dootson). I also tracked his activity and he shouldnt have missed any of my messages as well.

We are watching him. Thanks to all of you for sending PM's about him. Please let any of the moderators know of your final results (I.E. you are contacted by him with tracking info, or have received your goods).

I too have PM'd him, and asked that he resolve these issues with all of you. In the meantime, we have closed his classified ads (we want them to remain viewable), and have told him not to post any additional classified ads. If all goes good, we will reopen his existing ads, and lift his temporary ban on posting any additional items for sale. The ball is in his court.
Please be aware that we do everything we can to protect our members, and it's headsup reporting by all of you that helps us keep track of any wrong doings. Thanks for everyones involvement. This new forum, "purchase experience" is valuable to all members for this sort of situation.

It's also been brought to our attention that he is posting classifieds on other F150 sites. Perhaps those of you that are members there will want to warn those members of what's going on.

Again, he has not yet broken any rules. However, should anyone get a claim with PayPal due to this member not delivering what was paid for, we will then move forward with our actions on this forum.

Alrgiht no problem. Yea 2 days isnt much but he told me he would. So i took his word. Of course something could have came up but he could have atleast let me know.

Due to the number of issues we have had with this guy, I would suggest you immediatly open a Paypal Dispute. If it turns out he is legit and something just came up, it can always be cancelled.

Yea I bought that same lift kit my friend, $500 sent via Paypal, they told me I was 100% covered but I have to wait 7 days to make a claim. I have an address for him in Whittier, CA around Los Angeles that is connected to his Paypal account. I think I might get some friends of mine to stop by his house or the address he provided, I think we need some F-150 Forum justice... Anyone in L.A. wanna help?

He's been officially banned from the site. Selling the same lift kit to two different members and accepting paypal payments from both. I was told he was posting this stuff on other Ford sites as well. Wonder if any of those members bought and paid for the same stuff?

I'm new to this site and still getting a feel for it. I know buying anything online is a little unnerving and buying from an individual on a forum runs its risk. That being said it is good to see such a fast response to what seems like an unscrupulous seller. I wish good luck to those that are waiting on their item/money and kudos to the administrators for taking swift action. It says a lot about the integrity of the site.
