Default bad purchase

I would like to warn others to watch out. I recently purchased a set of bushwhacker fender flares off a member on here. Was told they were in mint condition.. but received them yesterday everyone is damaged. All 4 have deep scratches and 3 of 4 are tore. Two have under 2inch tears and one is close to 4 inches.. and prior to purchasing was told all 4 were in near mint condition. What should I do.

Have you contacted the member and brought it to his attention? Perhaps he will take them back for a refund. We're there any pics of the flares before you bought them?

I did all I got was they were perfect when I took them off and shipped them.. say pics on here they were in the classifieds for a not and he sent me pics I have all the messages. Asking condition and everyone reply was near perfect condition they are nowhere near OK condition .. my buddy is a body man and I showed him he said the time he would have in doing the plastic repair sanding the lighter damage out and repainting its not even worth it. Payed more then I wanted but was told of the great condition and a plus was they were the color of my truck so that sealed the deal. Very regretful and pi$$ed right now

did you pay through paypal? if so you can file a dispute with them and 99 times out of a 100 they side with the buyer and refund your $ they only kicker is you have to pay to ship the item back.

I can't get a straight answer either way if there was or not. Supposedly they were shipped in a box. But I get home there laying face down on the side walk in no box just some wrapping around the most of which was torn off. And the shipping label taped to the wrapping. Then I call ups and they tell me now that I was there signed for the damaged flares and accepted them as is.. this was in the driver notes. Which is total b.s on top of that all the hardware is missing too...

Call them back and tell them you were NOT home and did not sign for it. If the driver is pulling something shady, ask them to show you a copy of where you signed for it. I ship/receive packages daily and rarely have issues but when you do, you just have to be persistant.

But in the end, you paid for an item that didn't arrive as described. If the guy who sold em to you didn't box it correctly or UPS screwed it up, well that's not your fault. Main thing is go have clear communication with the seller and try to not let anger/frustration flood into it either as that doesn't help resolve anything.

Did maybe a spouse or neighbor sign for the package? Sounds odd but it happens. If it was shipped in the manner you desribed it arrived, then no wonder it's messed up.

I'd suggest opening a Paypal dispute claim as well now. It can always be closed later if everything clears up. Sometimes that motivates people to get off their *** though when they see Paypal put a hold on their funds.

Who sold them on here?
