Mine was more of a clunking noise. I took the shock off and found that the last person to touch it used the wrong size bolt.

i have a 1992 ford f150 2wd and looking to upgrade my shocks. Any ideas on some that won't be to expensive? but i don't wanna be to cheap and get some crappy ones. i need some heavy duty ones.
