Almost anything will fit with " a little modification " .. If you up to the work !! 6x9's are ok but you might want to consider a component set with a round mid if your serious about sound . You can build a plate out of mdf wood or even thick abs plastic and make a template or buy speaker adapters off eBay for about $10 .. If your going to amp the speakers I'd go the mdf route to reduce vibration and if you have the extra $$ get the dynamat door speaker kit . You'd be amazed at the difference it'll make .. I'm also in Vegas if that's what you mean by sin city in your posting title so hit me up if you have any other questions ..

Following this, as well as some other information on installing the factory emblem camera in a 2009 F150 to an aftermarket deck, I have found a few glitches with my project;

I purchased the factory camera and harness from Ford (in Toronto,Canada). I got the whole setup for about $200.

I took it to a radio shop and the guy installed the camera and ran the harness down the tailgate. At this point, he snipped off the end of the harness and used the wiring map to solder and run wires to the front of the truck.

The deck is an Eclipse AVN4430 that had a hook up for a rearview camera. The guy attached an RCA plug to the video feed and plugged it into the deck.

the setup works, HOWEVER, the feed is mostly in black and white and a little wavy. Even the coloured lines are in black and white most of the time and the resulting picture leaves a lot to be desired.

I returned the camera to Ford, thinking it may be a faulty unit, but the new unit does exactly the same thing.

I spoke to another installer and they said that possibly the guy didn't use the proper wire for the video feed and that there may be too much resisitance in the wire to get a perfect signal.

I THOUGHT I researched this enough on the forums, but unfortunately there seems to be an issue I still have to fix. Everyone seemed to not have any problems hooking up the factory emblem camera to an aftermarket deck, so I am wondering what is going wrong!!

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MAY BE CAUSING THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX IT?
