Leave the truck over night to cool

Turn the key on and snap a pic of how everything sets

Do your changing lights

Put it together but leave off the needles

Turn key in and replace needles.

Then finish putting the cover and everything back l together.

The needles work like the little glow sights do on a gun, the need light to shine one the end to light up the length of the needle. LEDs don't generate much ambient light when they are in such close quarters that it can't get light to the needle. This can be fixed by putting and led that's been lightly sanded to create a diffuser effect near the needle. Or swap to clear needles

Bulbs for an 04 fx4? I replaced the 194 in my shifter with a blue led and it looks good. Don't want to pull the gauges out without replacements in hand
