Exclamation grounding question

Is it ok if I just use the ground in the stock harness instead of grounding it to the frame/chassis?

Thanks for the reply, I installed the deck awhile back and Im very pleased with the result, the one thing that bugs me is the HU i bought has a mechanized display so it slides out if i want to put a cd in; basically my radio bezel from scosche fits so tight againts it that the screen moves together with it and then hits the factory radio bezel.. bottom line is it doesnt move/open. Any idea on how to make it work?

My screen isn't mechanical, so I don't have an issue with that. Is there any way to trim it or sand it any where is binds?
