As you can see from the pictures and information at the beginning, no adding the blinkers is not plug & play but rather splice & solder. The wiring is there for it but you apparently have to tap it, that is why he is saying to use 18" pieces of wiring. But it appears that the connector from the door to the mirror transfers all the voltages into the mirror assembly. But then again I am under the impression that it is there on the 2010 but unclear if there for 2011 and above. If you want to add power fold, extend/retract then you need to pull additional wiring. Ford has indeed made it confusing, but then again they shoot themselves in the foot by not only not prewiring for those of us that want to add later on but they are also pricing themselves out of the market for the addons. Oh, well whole nother subject.
Waited this long, am waiting just a tad longer to see what A1 addons are about and their pricing strategy is going to be.

Would like to do this mod to my 2009 Lariat SCAB. It has factory LED turn signals and heated mirrors. I'm wondering if the puddle lights wires are already pre-wired.

I've installed functional after market led side mirror turn signal. I did NOT have to remove the mirror, as most people are unaware. I was able to access & connect the turn signal wire to the after market leds by the puddle light opening(see attachment).

I just purchased the puddle lens last night. I Had an alternative option to custom fit a set of turn signals for $7 each side

Just remove the door panels as that is the easier way to check it....
My 2014 supercrew was pre wired for the turn signals. I installed mine in about 30 minutes.

Question What are the name of the colors of the wires in the side view mirror?

I am trying to put after market blinkers on my mirror glass, and I was wondering if the blinker is in the motor of the mirror so I don't have to wire it alot. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP! NO MIRRORS ON DOORS.

No the blinker is not in the motor of the mirror.... The 09-14 trucks are pre-wired for the mirror blinkers. I don't remember the wire colors but I used a wiring diagram that I found online to install my blinkers.

Following so I can do this in a little bit. Gotta get my reverse LED floodlights and led truck bed lights installed first so I don't have too many projects going at once.
