Bob,

Do you happen to know what all connections are availible at this connector on a 2010 STX?
Was thinking about adding heated, telescopic mirrors per: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181196469635...84.m1423.l2649 and am not sure if these connections are availible.
If so; can you or anyone advise if I will need the following power fold relay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190872893624...84.m1423.l2649. I am presuming that it will connect to the existing power mirror adjusting switch on the door panel or will I need a differant one.

okay; so relooking thru the posts it would appear that the connections I need are availible at the harness connection; only glitch would be on the heated mirror item, but what would happen if I used the "heated window" connection for the mirror or is that in fact the mirror and they are calling it the window? per one poster would I still need to switch out the climate control on my P/U to accomplish the end result?

Thanks very much to anyone or all that can assist in making this happen or letting me know the limitations to this happening.

I didn't see this question answered anywhere and I'm wondering the same thing. Where do I ground the puddle light at the door connection??

Would running a ground to one of those mirror mounting bolts work???

Is it possible to make the turn signals running lights as well? If so, anybody have any suggestions on how to run the circuit for the running lights?

If you haven't gotten your question answered yet and it is not a right this minute needed answer, they are delivering my replacement (w/heated rear window) climate controller tomorrow; when it gets a tad warmer I will be swapping it and at that time I will see what outputs are available going thru to the door. I will guess probably not and you will have to run a seperate wire but will advise if otherwise.
Also get to check to see if the outdoor temperature sensor that I installed 3 or 4 weeks ago works. The actual swapping of the mirrors will come later as just finished with replacement on all four corners drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads.

Some where I saw (perhaps one of the other forums) the wiring diagram that showed you what pins were avaiable at the mirror connection. If I come across it again I will post the link.

Post #1 of this thread gives the wiring diagram.

Thanks Bob Mac, that's a very useful and timely post for me. I had some slimeball hit my drivers side mirror (2013 S/C FX4 6 1/2 ft box 6,000 kilometres) while passing me then take off. I followed him and he went ballistic. Called the cops and they said they couldn't do anything as there were no witnesses. The part is $876.45 at the dealer but they had a takeoff on the shelf and I got it for $250. Now I'm just waiting for it to warmup, it was -28 Celsius last night, so I can change the mirror. Your description of the procedure makes it very clear. Cheers.

ok just so i understand, the wiring for those narrow turn signals is inside the mirror housing correct? Is the actual plug that goes ot the back of the amber signals there to or do you need to make a plug for the signals?
