Default Cheap Homelink mod

I hijacked this mod from PFBZ's build but wanted to give him the credit. It seems like a lot of us don't have homelink on our visors and want it but don't feel like paying for the homelink module and running the risk of tearing up your visor or paying $100 for a used visor. Try this, go to Walmart and by a industral grade velcro pack (Sticky type $3.00). Stick the two pieces together and cut to the size of your garage door opener. Stick it to the back of your garage door opener and then stick you garage door in your sunglasses holder this works for me because I have two sunglass holders. TAADAA you have a homelink system for around $3.00. Enjoy

I just put mine in the eye-glass holder. Didn't use sticky tape so I can take it out when I take truck to shop.

Thanks, this is a great idea. I don't like leaving my garage remote clipped on the visor because the truck is usually parked in my driveway. I've been parking it in that cubbyhole in the dash under the 12V outlet that isn't big enough for anything else. This is a good alternative.
