I only have three more things to add to mine and I'll have a Troyer stage 3 kit on it. E-Fans, pulleys and COPs. I am probably going to do these items this summer. This is a good post
what is the UD pulleys you said on your truck? what is there purpose? and also, the fans look freakin nice, you have a ton more room under your hood now, makes me wanna look into gettin some.
the best way to describe how UD pulleys work is the compare them to the gears on a mountain bike. when you switch into a lower gear, you slow down but you dont work as hard. the UD pulleys, which are the water pump and crank pulley you see pictured, slow down the speed of the accessory belt which allows the motor to spin easier. this frees up some hp and gains some mpgs
Hey. I am wondering were you got your dc control, if it was off their website, and what version was it? I would have to agree the picture demonstrations you've done are very helpful and would make this project a cake walk. Would you think that same version of the dcc and the efans would work on a 1999 ford f 150 4.6L v8 ? Its almost the same exact setup you have

i got it straight off their website. i got the 35, i think its called the fk 35 or something like that. its the basic one, costs about $120. the same version of the dcc would work on any vehicle so itll work fine on you 99.
