Yeah, that's a great idea...assuming you have an impact wrench. Oh, and the compressor large enough to run it...
And still, I hear of professional mechanics, who might have a continued use for air driven equipment (which I don't), still screw the pooch on plug changes..
The whole reason I did the plugs myself was to save money, and do it right...not spend $ on tools to fill my garage to impassable, that I will likely not use again...

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to be harsh, I would love to have a fully furnished, properly outfitted über garage. I have a definite penchant for tool collection, and, like an addict...I need to exercise an incredible amount of self control to not run to HF or Sears and convince myself that I *need* a ginormous compressor (which I have no doubt I could find some use for).
But I like being married, alot.

I haven't read all 35 pages of this thread but just a quick heads up to anyone tackling this project. Check to see what color your cop boots are first. I ordered the plugs and lisle tool and then found out i have a completely different plug. If your boots are black you have sp-515, if they're brown you have sp-509.

There is a whole procedure...search on the threads or sticky for exact procedure...
Start truck with all electrical systems off, get it up to temp, let it sit for minute, turn on AC, let it idle for minute, then drive it to let it relearn idle trim? Something like that...
