Thanks.
The porcelain broke while trying to remove #8 (I think is what you were asking about.) Meaning, when I went to remove it, it snapped off right at the point where the nut separate from the tip.
However, on 5 & 7, the nut separated from the tip first, then I broke the plug off, so I could use the tool to push the porcelain into the tip, then used the extractor to pull the tip out. Nothing fell into the cylinder. Before I removed the tip, I vacuumed any chips out, created from using the pusher tool.

Pretty neat tool for the removal. Simple and effective.

Picture is in order of engine position. 1-4 (none broken) then 5-8 (5,7 & 8) broken.

My truck has just under 75K so the fact that you are doing it early will lesson your chances of breaking plugs. PM sent in regards to the Lisle tool.

Ok so I've been thinking about this plug change and about the using of carb cleaner to soften and break up the carbon and the pb blaster to lube, well what about using seafaom's deep creep? Would that not be using the seafaom and lube all in one since it's recommended to run sea foam before the change?? Or why couldnt you use straight seefaom in the spark plug hole after u crack the plug open 1/8 of a turn and let the seafaom do what it supposedly does best?? And maybe shoot a little pb blaster in there with the seafaom?? Just seems that if seafaom is so good at breaking down carbon and deposits then pouring it straight in like that would really break it down right?? Just my thinking someone else give me their opinion on this please??

I dont see what that would hurt. After talking to several mechanics about this they all do it a little different and use different stuff, I chose PB blaster because I have it and it works on everything else and carb cleaner because I know it breaks up carbon. Doing a seafoam treatment was something I had considered but didnt do for some reason, not sure why. lol I think as long as you get something down in there to soften up the crud after you break the plugs loose it will help greatly.
