1.) Which replacement plugs did you use?
2.) Did you remove the computer module and any fuel rails?

Yes I did, we have 08's though and I was wanting to make sure and not waste time.
A lot can change, in an eleven page post. New techniques and solutions, especially since as I said we have 08's with the new heads and plugs.

You need to remove and set the PCM (computer) aside and that is easy enough. No need to remove anything fuel related. Honestly, considering how easy it was for me, it is a shame that people don't try it on their own. Remember, I broke every single plug and one was stripped and I was still able to get it done. I saved around $1,000.

I used Motorcraft SP515 platinum spark plugs. I have heard that the one-piece replacements from Champion and Brisk are not doing so well with some owners. The factory replacement parts worked fine for me, and considering I know how to do this the next time it'll be much easier. Special thanks to Kozal01 and Goldteam for that!

I just wanted to thank the OP for this tutorial. Not being anything close to a mechanic, I would've never had the courage or knowledge to tackle this project on my own. Even though I don't have the new plugs in yet, I did get all 8 plugs out in one piece. For that I am extremely thankful! Pics included.

I used the steps listed on this tutorial. I actually ended up moving some sort of line bracket that sits on the drivers side so I could reach #8. I used a ratchet for the removal and will use a manual torque wrench after I thread in the replacements. #4 scared me the most, just because it made a noise. I didn't use any U-Joints. The biggest tip I found, besides what's listed here, is to take the plug socket and extensions off the ratchet and go ahead and get them lined up to the plug and then connect the ratchet and make sure your extensions stay as straight as possible. I felt like that is the difference from mine breaking and not breaking!
