Battery relearn process

I tried the relearn process, and no success. Maybe I did something wrong. I do not believe that I left the AC on when I put it in and drive. Crap, I didn't put it in gear and let it idle. So...I guess more to come once I try it again. Thanks for the info though. I was pulling me hair out trying to figure out what was going on. I changed the plugs and wires and then the stalling while coming to a stop started to happen. Hopefully this fixes the problem.

this helped a ton, i never did it after i put on intake and exhaust and i was getting bad mileage, but now im getting way better mileage and it feels way smoother especially at idle.

Great thread! My truck was running like crap after I changed the battery and alternator, it was stalling out, the idle was bad and it would quit running or damn near quit every time I was decelerating for 2 weeks. I immediately jumped online and read that the problem could be traced to any one of the 700 sensors on my truck, a ground, a fuel filter or the fuel pump could be going bad. I'm not mechanically inclined so I was on the verge of a mental breakdown looking at the cost of possibly trouble shooting and replacing all of these damn sensors UNTIL I came across this thread. Yesterday I followed the instructions posted and my truck not only runs fine now but possibly better than before the battery and alternator change....Thanks a ton!
