whats everyone using to paint um? The 1500deg. paint or just reg. stuff? I did mine with Rustoleum black well see how it holds up. PLUS how much black silicone you using so it don't squeeze all into the inside and look like crap?

i know this might be a dumb question, but i want to do the same thing and i have the oem sealed halogen lights, and the lights are glass, will this hurt if i put them in the oven to get it to pry apart? and will i take the same steps as you did with your lights? any help will be thankful. and your lights turned out nice

I painted my with krylon for plastic paint used some sealant found at oreilly's for windshield sealant worked great no problems with paint after a month I also sanded down the chrome to the plastic behind it.

I don't think it will work but maybe look for some headlight covers for your year or buy some dark colored Plexiglas and make your own?

thanks alot man, for answering my question, i have covers for it now i just hate putting them on for during the day and then taking them backoff for the night time. and thanks for the help
