Ok well I got mine fixed. Turned out the fuse for the left signals for tow was blown when my truck was repaired last apparently. I couldn't use the green/yellow wire for reverse on my 2006 as it was always hot with key on. I just ran the reverse sensing wire to the black/ pink in drivers kick panel. Everything works great as it should Except... If you turn the camera on by pressing the on/off button you still have to put in reverse to get a picture so that function is pretty much useless. Maybe it's just my radio model though.

I don't know if you are, but if you're getting your power from your reverse lights then this is what will happen. You need to draw your power from an accessory that's hot all the time. (such as your head unit's power)

Ah I am. I feel foolish for not thinking about that. Of course only power is there in reverse right now so obviously the only time I will get a picture is then. Thanks

I wonder if you're picking up some sort of interference. Mine's like watching TV. Not grainy at all.

Either way...you're right...for $35 bucks you can't go wrong.

200 lousy miles all season. Most of that on the Bear Notch Road trails. We have a place on Newfound Lake so we mostly ride there. Not this season though. Lake was only frozen for a month in a half.

Got the boat out now. There's always another season.

I know it, usually average about 1800 miles. Not this year. Yeah, the lakes never did freeze up enough for me this year. Always the way, one good year, the next is lousy.

hey guys, great thread.i have a 2006 f150 lariat. didnt come with the nav. i added the factory nav. kinda suck but whatever. i wanted to add the factory back up camera which goes on the tailgate handle. i purchased the camera already. i took it the a local radio shop. told them what i wanted to do. they said that my screen should go in reverse mode when reversing, if not it cant be done. after reading all the post im still convinced it can be done. im a rookie when it comes to cars, but i have a little common sense, when at least i think i do lol.

question is can it be done, and how?

the factory nav doesnt have no other place to plug nothing in. would love to do. any feedback would be awesome. thanks in advance
