Professionally tinted is the way to go.

Got a quote the other day from a place that does custom vehicle work and they told me it was going to be $475 to tint just my tail lights and would take up to two days.

How in the world did they come up with that number? My body shop charges $30 per taillight. They wetsand them, and spray them with a high gloss clear with a drop of gloss black mixed in until the desired level of tint is reached.

Profession or a well done DIY clear coat makes a total difference. Not only in looks, but in protection from elements and direct sunlight
