No problem (its the kind where they have all the brushes and crap that touch your car)

It was the valspar for plastic gloss black. Holding up great. Still looks like the day I did it. Replacing decals is even easier. 10 minute job. Go out on a sunny day, use a blow dryer on the decals, peel them right off. You may require some goo gone or similar product. I did not, but then again its was 105 degrees the day i did mine and did it a few weeks after purchasing the truck.

I got 1 box from pep boys (because they only had one) and the 2nd box from auto zone.

was it hard to get the stickers back on the original spot?

They are after market LED tail lights so they came that way.

Good questions. I for once was smart enough to think ahead and used...i think dry erase, or tape, or something to mark the edges of the factory sticker before taking it off. Or you could wait until your truck is dirty and take them off. There will be a clean outline of where the decal was. I had both so it was fairly easy.

I wish someone would make a template for the holes. I want to mount painted OEM fender trim on my '10 XLT Screw.

I did this with the AutoZone special bumper and trim black and not happy with the results. I will try this and see. My front bumper guard looks like crap...

See the trim on sides. Looks crappy....

Bump. Can't believe how fast I found this thread using Google. Want to do the same, having trouble (on internet anyway) finding the plastic plugs. Any additional info would be great.

They are like that on the tailights that I put after market.

Status update, they all still look nice and black, definitely worth doing for those thinking about it. They've held up this long, I would do it again if they begin fading.
