Can't wait to do this to my truck. I have a 2.5' leveling kit now wonder how much lower it will look in the front. Also wondering if anyone has the aal and lift kit.

When you say remove the block are you talking about the stock rear block? How would that effect the ride?

I have a 1.5" spacer in between my axle and the leafs. Removing the spacer would lower the rear 1.5"

Does anyone know what size nuts are on 1) the center pins holding the leaf pack together and 2) the nuts holding the U bolts together?

I believe they are metric, because none of my American sockets fit. I ended up using a crescent wrench to tighten them until I could torque them properly with the right size socket.

Help? Thanks!

Definitely metric. I believe I had to use the 19mm and 21mm but its been a while.

That was it! Thanks.

Also, for anyone interested, you definitely need deep well sockets. I had a 19mm at home but it was a shallow one.

Seems like you need a full set of American and Metric deep well sockets to work on a truck. This comes from doing my AAL, leveling kit, and shocks myself and having to buy new sockets each time.

Yeah when I was installing my buds 6" lift went ahead and got sets of metric and SAE impact sockets as well

I'm interested in doing a 2.5" level and AAL in the rear. How is the ride after your setup tunaslayer? Any rougher or no difference from stock? I had an f250 superduty that I traded in that rode rough without a payload in back and I am worried the AAL will bring my truck close to that level.
