Would you buy a 2011 5.0L with 112K miles?

Heck, around here that's the asking price for 08-09's with similar or higher miles...
But since you asked if the miles are too high for me, yes they are. If I were going to buy used I would feel more comfortable spending $30k on one with 30-40k miles on it. In a 2 to 3 years you will have 150+k miles on it.

Retired and loving it!
Half the miles, and half the drivetrain. Two wheel drive, there is simply less moving parts and a lot less to go wrong and to need replacing.

thanks for the insight guys. I passed on that original lariat 4x4 5.0 because I just couldn't get comfortable with the price for that many miles. it was very clean but he wanted too much for private sale and that many miles. I did however end up getting a new to me 2012 Lariat EB that's even cleaner and is loaded. has navi, sun roof, electronic locking rear diff, remote start (not sure if all lariats have that?). So far I love the truck! I got it from a Ford dealer so it's certified for 12 mos or 12K miles plus 100K on powertrain. It has 70K miles on it but I'm okay with that because this thing has been babied. Never had a trailer hooked up to it (not a scratch in the hitch receiver and original grease packing in the trailer light hookup connections), and it doesn't even look like anyone sat in the passenger or rear seat areas. Garage kept too. The dealer took it in on trade when the guy bought a new truck so they have the history on it. My wife even wants to steal the truck from me because it steers & rides so smooth and she loves the heated seats... So, now I'm an EB'er (sorry if that's not really a term...).
