With the smog laws in denver you will absolutely fail! and if you drive past the mobile check points getting on a on ramp exc. You will get flagged to bring it in

Why do you say the mobile will flag him to come in?
I live in Denver as well and have never heard of being flagged by them. They basically sniff the air behind the vehicle.
It actually may still be clean enough to pass. If not it will just not give him an exception.

Since you only have to get it done every other year you could put MOOthe cats back on for the inspection.
That is what I do with my Mustang along with a mild tune.
I have driven by the mobile testers a lot of times in my Mustang and have never had an issue. It just doesn't pass.

I didn't even realize my truck is emission exempt until 2015. But those things on the on ramps still scare me. Well I be fine with catted pipes?

I just don't know if catted pipes sound as good

Well as I said I have driven pass them dozens of times in my Mustang without cats without any issues.
I dont think they even care for new cars that are exempt for the first 6 years.

Yes, catted pipes should be fine. I replaced my 4 cat pipe with a 2 cat Bassani on my Mustang. And I currently replace my off-road pipe with that pipe for my inspections and it passes every time. They use mirror to see if you have cats.
But until 2015 it shouldn't matter.

So I found out those little emission stations in the i25 on ramps are just for their own data. Might need to pull the trigger on this and just change it out in 2015

Not sure what you mean "their own data"

What they are for is if you pass them twice within a certain amount of time before your renewal is due and it shows clean you will not be required to get an emissions inspection. I use to get it all the time on my 2000 Dakota. In fact in the 9 years I owned the truck I only took it to get inspected once.
There used to be a permanent one one the Speer blvd east exit from I25 with a sign that would tell you if you passed or not.
