It does seem high doesn't it. I barely got that much power out of a boosted engine from a stage 1 tune. I think around 30hp is more realistic.

Or maybe the 3.7 just isn't tuned very well from the factory.

What does it win at besides having higher numbers?

HAHA. Been there, done that. Many times. My friend.

But on topic, buy the truck that fits your needs. If the v6 is all you need/want, buy it, don't let other people's opinion about displacement sway you. And 300+ hp out of a v6, thats more than the 03 f150 I had with the 5.4. Can't beat that.

You'll stand corrected again, because your incorrect. A friend of mine owns the limited and the race has happened more than just on the sand, and the results are always the same.

I'm not knocking the 6.2L at all, I think its a great motor, and I would like to run one that has a tune, just to see how much it wakes it up.

so it is always the same driver? hmmm, call me nuts but maybe that has a little something to do with it....I mean you could hand over a Viper to the "wrong" person and you could probably beat them in a Fiesta

Your right, it takes a lot of talent to mash down the pedal when the flag drops.

But I've also raced many raptors in the sand, they lose by even more.
