Mine will give you a rental for $80 a day and you have to be over 25 years old.

I work at a Honda dealership and if you own a Honda and you're in for service, you're getting a complimentary loaner.

I thought loaners was included under warranty?

I had a small paint flake issue and while Ford was fixing it i got a rental. Not sure if Crystal pulled some strings or not but I had no issue with getting a rental.

here's a different perspective, unfortunately having been in service business I know firsthand the frustration someone has when their inconvenienced and have issues with something that costs a lot of money, this doesn't just apply to cars, the dealers I deal with have certified techs, if they don't have the certification they are not allowed to perform specific tasks, the oil change guy should not be diagnosing your drivability issue when you take it in, it used to be that techs got paid an hourly wage, most now get paid by the service work they perform in a day with the fixed flat rate pricing, doesn't matter if it takes twice as long as expected which we all know sometimes it happens even on the smallest of items. to ensure consistency dealers typically follow the protocols for all dealers that are outlined in TSBs, service manuals, etc. this doesn't do well for those of us who are more technically knowledgeable than the typical soccer mom but does well for the majority of the business dealers do, if it didn't they would change it. I have had several issues with some of my Fords, I had a great dealer that knew right away what the issue was on my 99 F150 that had a burning oil smell then had one dealer that when I took him the TSB for the fill issue on the gas tank of my 05 Mustang he was baffled, or maybe just stupid. If you have to take a vehicle in and it is the dealer you bought the vehicle from, talk with the sales people if you are having service issues, the surveys that get sent out after purchase and service are read by Ford and dealers are graded on them, service work isn't always a perfect science and sometimes trial and error is all you do, everybody here owns a computer, what if you had to go to the dealer for an update like you do with Windows updates, we would never have our cars /trucks as they would always be in update mode for "security fixes". as mentioned, just a different perspective. By the way, best dealer I ever had was Gillespie Ford, Humboldt, TN, service manager lived out passed me, I would call him for service or issues, he would stop by my house and pick up my truck, take it in for repair or service and drop it back off or I could pick it up at my convenience,
