I'm looking to do a gear swap and would like to go with Yukons, but the shop I go to hasn't been able to find any one that makes gears for my truck. Has anyone with a 2011 4 wheel drive done a gear swap yet, if so where did you get them?

The shop said they tried them with no luck, I haven't spoken with anyone there directly though.

I'm surprised. You should call them. Or try calling Yukon gear or other gear manufacturers.

I've changed gears on my 4x2 XL and had to buy genuine Ford's gears. Ford changed the design of the pinion in 2011 trucks.

I spoke with ford and the lowest they offer is 4.10 and they want $700 for the rear and $700 for the front. I would like to get 4.56 but would settle for 4.3 or 4.27 if I can't find them.

This is the one thing that stinks about buying a new model the first year it comes out, you have to wait for everything to be designed and developed.

pretty sure you need is ford 8.8" reverse rotation for the front and ford 9.75" for the rear

Thanks for looking but I found the same thing, last line of the description says that they will not work on 2011 or newer models.

Spoke to randys ring and pinion and diff only today neither carry gears for the 2011 f150. I had to leave a message at Yukon and have yet to hear back from them....
