Default wheel spacers

How big and what do you think stock rims would look like with spacers? Just to put them out alittle.

What he means by its the 2011 section is wheel spacers have nothing to do with engine. Post this in the 2009-present section

I have a 2012 F-150 and would like to put wheel spacers on to widen the stance. I still have the factory wheels. Any suggestions?

Also I am new to this forum and have a mechanical question, I have noticed that when I come to a stop at an intersection and then start to take off, it feels like there is a bump in the tranny or drive shaft has some slop in the u-joints, I only have 26K miles. I also saw the same issue in a 2011 F-150 work truck my company had me drive. I would appreciate anyone that knows anything about this. My name is gerad, my e-mail is gwm727@aol.com

Thanks

There is a tsb for that. Hit and miss for some. What the dealer did has taken care of mine for 100,000 miles

As was pointed-out to jpuff (the O/P) ... This is the engine section. Other topics should be directed to Late Model F150s > 2009 - 2014 Ford F150

That being said .....
  • wheel adapters
    • HIGH QUALITY
    • hub centric
    • minimum thickness is 1½" (unless the back of the rim's mount flange has indentations, then 1")
    .
  • "bump in the tranny or drive shaft"
    • known issue
    • TSB available.
