I have access to used 5.0 from a 2011 F150. it has 97k miles and has a spun crank bearing. it ran before being pulled from the truck it just had a small knock.

anybody have any idea what it might be worth?

100000 miles and a chance the block is junk from the spun bearing... as little as possible. If you need a decent core I would keep looking for one that isn't internally damaged. If you just need it for parts... $500 at absolute most complete.

I was looking to resell actually. there doesnt seem to be any cheap cores available so I figured I could make a few bux off of it but it doesnt matter now. ITS JUNK. the guy who diagnosed it took all the bearing caps off and now they are gone.
I am gonna pull the heads and scrap the rest now.

Somewhere in the teens depending on cab configuration and condition. The 5.0s are fine but hold less value than the Eco at this time... So 1-2k less for 5.0 than Eco . If ext cab low teens...

I meant just the engine, not the whole truck. but like I said it doesnt matter because the bearing caps are gone so its not worth much if anything more than scrap value
