According to the last myfordmag.com, Ford's official publication, they are Borg Warner supplies turbos. They don't list the model number.

The turbo's are definitely B-W's, not Garrett. I climbed under there and got some numbers off of them and determined they are most likely K03's. I started a thread on it and posted all the info here:

https://www.f150forum.com/f70/what-turbo-eb-102482/

. . . and the compressor, cartridge, and exhaust housings have lots of F-150 EB specific features, like nozzle orientation, integral BPV's, integral WG's, oil/water flanges, etc. . . so changing the whole turbo will be quite a chore. However, several companies specialize in upgrading wheels in an existing housing. That will be the mostly likely upgrade.

I didn't think dual K03 borg warners could produce that much power. Not sure if anyone has held a K03 but they are small. Good to see ford went with borg warner, very reliable.

The k04 in the speed6 makes 274hp. People thought it should have been tapped at 220hp. Maybe the di has something to do with it because the power is limited by the heat the turbo makes and the di counters that by cooling the combustion chamber.

upgrading the internals of the turbo would be a nice upgrade while keeping it stealthy for the warranty ****'s Probably get 50-100whp from a lighter/clipped turbine and squeezin a larger compressor with some porting.

None of this is happening until a tuning option comes out.

question to the vdub folks.....isnt the k03-4 in the vdubs KKK turbos? Did BW buy KKK out or something?

Mitsu turbos are so out of date, my wife's supra has a T78 and it drives me mad....so slow to spoil but it is reliable....so lookin forward to swapin a nice gt35r/BW 300 series in there for roadtrack duty.
