What is the latest thinking about ecoboost plug gap?
The spark plug gap for ecoboost engines has been something of a moving target. I have a 2011 3.5L that I plan on winging new plugs at but I want to know the latest thinking on what the spark plug gap should be to avoid misfiring on acceleration.
Thanks!

When I put my canned sct 93 octane tune on I had spark blowout. I pulled the stock plugs and they were gapped between .034 and .040. I regapped my stock plugs to .025 and have had no issues since then.

I have Brisk Silver RR15YS plugs now and gapped all to .028" and runs real nice. Cold start up, warm idle cruising and under a load engine is smooth. No surge or misses anymore. Love it!!!

Keepin' the lights on!
Stock or very mild tune, I'd go with a .030" gap. A good performance tune, I'd do .028". *****-out strip/street tune- .025"

My truck is stock with the CAC update/worse tune TSB.
Also I was thinking about using NGKs of some kind.

Also, I am having the earnest time trying to look up NGK's iridium spark plug number for the 3.5L ecoboost. NGK's site doesn't show an application.
Any help would be appreciated.

You notice a loss of power with that update? Mine was horrendous, but others have not noticed a loss of power it seems. Just curious I have had a tune for 3 months now but need to get rid of that intercooler yet.
