Default What else should an Ecoboost go in?

I was thinking an EB marine version in a speed boat/ runabout. Marine version should get 400hp rating.
A 3.7 would make a great multipurpose motor too.
Both are compact and lightweight.
Many possibilities ....

Marine would be sweet. A neighbor of mine has a boat with an ls3 motor. It's a corvette on water!

Hmm.. I don't like the idea of having a turbo on a marine application. The engine is always working no matter what at a certain rpm. A vehicle is has varying loads and that leans on and off the boost. I just think you should go naturally aspirated with marine engines. I have a no replacement for displacement thinking. My boat has a 5.7 Seamaxx engine that puts out 400 hp. Plus having those turbos always spooled would be very inefficient eliminating all the Eco benefits of the motor in a marine situation. Lastly, there is nothing like the sound a of a marine cold start with straight pipes of a V-8

An Ecoboost in a Mustang would be sweet. Especially a modded one with bigger turbos and more boost.

EB Mustang is the next obvious choice.

As for marine, turbo's work great on marine engines. Check out the new Mercruiser 1350. 1350 hp on pump gas with a warranty and smooth idle using twin turbo's. The only problem is that the exhaust housings get REALLY hot. You have to use a water-jacketed turbine snail, which are expensive, large, and not that common.

If Ford were to do just that.....which engine would Ford make their top power producer..the eco v-6 or the 5.0L.......good idea....just not sure how Ford would handle it.

I was thinking how well that torque would pull a big boat out of the water. Like a big twin prop or variable prop turbo diesel.
Turbos spooled up for lond periods is not a problem. TD boats and big rigs, my EB F150 towing my trailer etc.
Besides think of all the people who want a quiet boat, luxury cruisers etc. A real stealth rocket.
