The later model EB's have a CAC that has internal blocks of the tubes = less air flo= less cooling of the air. Did you shut down because the air temp ?

I am inclined to think bad connection at ECU or elsewhere.

I knew about the updated cac, but I didn't know what the update was.

With the internal tubes blocked by plastic the air has to rush thru faster thus cooling less. That also may help with the gunk that may collect there pushing it on thru at a higher speed flo rate instead of building up in the lower corner. That would have less going into the motor at one time spreading out the condensation and not affecting motor operation. It would appear the ECU programming has been adjusted to allow for this possibly a detune to the operating characteristics of the motor at a specific range of RPM.

So I was wrong about the cac blocker plate. When I originally popped my hood I missed it. I just saw it today. So it looks like they installed it.

I will call them and ask them why they didn't do the newer tsb.
