Volant Cold Air Intake for ECOBOOST
I figured more and more companies would be getting with the program and releasing stuff sooner or later. I cant wait to see what's going to be available performance wise for the Ecoboosts by summer time. Here's the new Volant CAI..Looks pretty high quality but I wouldn't expect anything less from VOLANT. Also being boxed in with the lid it does a better job of actually sucking in cold air from the wheel well instead of just circulating the hot air from the engine bay.

And yeah I've pretty much decided I'm going to wait for my exhaust til the summer. I know it's never gonna sound like a v8. But I've heard v6s sound good. No reason our v6 can't either. Some companies are definitely gonna come out with new stuff for the ecoboost. I'd like to see borla work on the ecoboost. I have a mild interest in the magnaflow cat back off road series that dumps out of site. Local shop told me that's me loudest option..

Just an FYI to on the "hot air sucker" theory. I have been monitoring Intake temps, haven't seen anything over outside temps when sitting in traffic.
I have the Roush intake FYI.
What I am excited about is the fact that this is boxed in, and may help the "noise" that is bothering me with the open element filters. Depending on price, I may have to test drive this one to see if it lessens the sounds that are annoying me.
