I agree. It is not a mechanical issue. Even if it is, why mess with something still under warranty.

When they replaced my trans they updated the pcm shift strategy & it shifted smooth. The old tranny shifted hard into 3rd with stock tune, Mike @ 5Star updated my tune & it cured it.

so you had a 5 star tune on your old transmission?
