Well that's 29499/40890 = 0.721, or 27.9% off. Not 30% but pretty close. That's the best I've heard of. Mine was 25.7% off.

Think it depends upon what model and options you're getting.

this is very true...The $1k FX discount helped...I also got the $750 targeted thing and a $500 Dallas Mavericks wont the championship rebate

I am not an employee. I just worked a pretty good deal I think. A local dealer put an ad in the paper for a 2011 F150 SuperCrew 3.7 for $21,977 if you finance through Ford. The MSRP on this truck was 33,190. I went into the dealership to see this truck, and to my surprise, it actually existed! Not just a bait and switch like usual!

However, the truck was basically without options. They had a SuperCrew XLT w/ the sync and custom package sitting right next to it, and I obviously liked that one better. I asked them what they could do on that one, and they told me that they would match their ad price, plus the difference in MSRP. The XLT Custom was $35,610, and after the ad match and difference, it came out to $24,397. The truck also had about $800 in dealer ads between a bed liner, window tint, and pin striping. So it came out to about $25,200. I offered them 24,500 and the rest is history. After TT&L, I financed almost $26.5k.

Cliff Notes: I got my 2011 XLT Screw for about 31 percent off sticker

Hmmm, well now if I had to finance through Ford to get a 30% discount, that would be twice the interest rate I'm paying at the bank (at least up here in Ontario). So maybe in the long run it wouldn't be that much better a deal for me.

But any discount north of 20% a truck like this is pretty good by me. We've been looking at trucks and tow-capable SUVs for months now, and that Ford discount was what got us to make the plunge. There's a lot of other new vehicles out there with no discounts.

You take the Ford finance discount, pay off the loan the first month and get your own financing. Thats what I plan to do.

Sticker on my 11 screw fx4 was 47. I paid 37 I could have paid 36 but I got 2.9% financing through usaa so I couldn't pass it up. With a 15k trade in I only financed 22. No tax or title because I'm active duty military and that makes me exempt from paying all that thanks to the state of tennessee. I feel pretty good about my deal.

$47K ?? Holy Cow, what kind of options on that truck?

Some get the $1K rebate for FordCredit financing and then refi at a lower rate .. I would never do that though

I traded a '08 Prius with 35k miles on it and 13500 for my truck. Truck was sticker 40,500 after the Chrome/tow/Convenience discount.

Its Eco Screw 4x4 off road XLT with Chrome and 18" tires.

it went something like this.

37k invoice
4k rebates
19,896 for Prius ( Black book is 17.8k and KBB was 19.5k trade in)

It is hard to figure out with a trade in but I felt pretty good. I think invoice minus hold back was 36k on truevalue.

Great deal. I bought my Tundra there ten years ago and saved a ton on tax when I was At Campbell.
